“ ‘It would be churlish to say that this will be a good thing for people,’ Dixon says. ‘It will be tough and there will be blood on the carpet, but I do think that design thrives on constraints. If there is a wall, we need to find a way to jump over it. Design should be there to find ways of improving things, not just make a new shape or be more expensive. It will be interesting to see what happens’.
